Delta is set like a jewel in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, the Africa, s largest and most beautiful oasis-an isolated paradise surrounded by a hostile environment. It is Botswanans prime wildlife location, with palm fringed and thickly wooded islands, lush green vegetation, translucent waters and an exceptional range of bird and animal life. But the real attraction of the okavango is tranquility; its true spirit, one of harmony.

ACTIVITIES: boat cruise, sundowner

Because activities in panhandle are focused on water, birding and general boating are the main interests. Papyrus lines the waterways, leaving only a thin ribbon of water to meander through its lush greenery. After morning activities will return to camp for lunch, siesta and that is the best time for shower.

ACTIVITIES: Walking safari, boat cruise, sundowner

Today our journey takes us to another destination of moremi game reserve [Qadikwe]. After breakfast we retrack back heading to moremi for 140 km 3 to 4 hours to the station. Packed lunch with us which means will stop halfway between for picnic lunch. Moving day can be rough as we will move all our camping equipment’s to the next destination. Backup team will always be ahead to setup the camp and prepare meals.

ACTIVITIES: Game drives, boat cruise, sundowner

Breakfast will be a relaxed affair this morning before taking a leisurely game drive out through the area, absorbing the majesty of the okavango and its wildlife as we go. When we reach eastern moremi game reserve we will travel on the khwai river area where will spending 2 nights in private campsite. They will be game to see on the way to the camp. Moremi game reserve became a conservation area back 1964 and since the reserve has gone from strength to strength. Today is considered as one of the world’s finest game viewing areas with an outstanding diversity of wildlife. The calls of this abundant wildlife will accompany our evening meal at campfire drinks, adding to the magical atmosphere here.

ACTIVITIES: Game drives, sundowner

We will wake early this morning and enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee before heading out to mokoro [canoe] cruise at the first light. The wildlife here is incredible so we will spend as much time as possible out in the reserve, soaking up the fantastic array of species and the environment they live. We will return to camp for a refreshing, lunch and siesta. The temperature will have cooled by the afternoon so we will return for safari again. Along the way we will stop for snacks and sundowner before continuing to follow the life of the reserve. Dinner and drinks will be served beneath the starriest of skies this evening and tales of the day will be exchanged before we all retire to our tents for the last night.
